This was my first time here at night. The temple glow in a stunning gold, fractured the plain dark sky. It stood arrogantly. Everyting around faded into the air, some lay buried.
We were dining at the “The Deck”, a restaurant overlooking Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn. We almost gave up coming here initially because all the cab drivers refuse to send us, for a very simple reason: they don’t know where is it. Can’t believe it, right? But we were lucky, the last taxi driver agreed to bring us near to the Grand Palace. And we managed to find our way despite the heavy downpour.
We headed for the cozy bar in 3rd level after our dinner. Everything was mellow. Wine and jazz perfected our final night in Bangkok.
I wish to thank Leonard, Yvonne and Huey Ling, for the company.
To Leonard: Friends are not made to keep, they are made for you to remember. Because they stand on your side when you need them.
